这位来自澳洲的Paulini的歌手,大家或许还有点陌生.但Paulini对于在澳洲本土的观众们就显得非常熟知的偶像.Paulini是澳洲最佳R&B女歌手,她的Angel Eyes单曲以前在Jeff Healey的电影原声《Roadhouse》中发行过.2006年08月29 日澳洲歌手Paulini,由新力博德曼发行公司制作并推出新专辑《Superwoman》,将会给我们带来又一阵R&B旋风. 抛开其它，至少有一点很明确《Superwoman》是张好听的专辑，它不会以讨好取悦每一双耳朵，反而会让耳朵一听倾心。没有吵闹的Club Beat，aulini 在夏末推出的这张《Superwoman》，一定会在秋天带给她最丰盛的果实，简单地说，《Superwoman没有多余的Hip-Hop修饰，没有哗众取宠的音效，能感受到的，是脚踏实地的态度和朴实的音符。当美国佬的R&B统治全世界的时候，来听听这张澳洲出产的流行R&B，顿时清爽之感油然而生。曲风大体比较保守和正统，更醒目的突出Paulini个人的声音魅力。Paulini的音色和Beyonce相似，尤以中低音区的转音难以分辨，由此专辑中的部分快歌带有Beyonce的风格，比如《So Over You》。其实，二者的音色相似，声音表情却大相径庭。Beyonce的声音性感妖艳、味道浓厚，听多了难免恶心起腻，Paulini就清新爽朗的多，声音偏暖偏软，没有过分修饰，滑过耳际，更有自然之美感。当然，Paulini的不足之处也非常明显，高音区明显是她的弱势，《Superwoman》很好的回避了这个问题，很少出现尖锐的高音渲染，着力突出Paulini中低音区细腻润滑的听感优势，这也是《Superwoman》使人舒服的另一个原因。可惜的是，《Who Will I Run To》成为《Superwoman》最大的败笔，这首翻唱自Kiley Dean的经典之作，Paulini却难以驾驭，高音的缺陷，情感的缺失，让这首歌空有令人动容的旋律，却无法使人感动，成为声音的摆设。
